The Tall Lug Boot in Onyx Black


  • Structured, water-resistant upper in black.
  • Knee-high silhouette for an elegant, flattering look.
  • Ribbed stretch panel on the back for easy pull-on entry.
  • Cushy insoles for added comfort and support.
  • Lightweight rubber lug sole in black with durable traction.
  • Chunky 1.5-in (4-cm) heel for added height.

Washing Instructions

  • All of our styles are machine washable. However, this style’s water-resistant treatment will fade as it is washed. We recommend spot cleaning to preserve the water-resistant treatment. Learn more.
  • Slip out insoles. Toss shoes and insoles in the wash with cold water. 
  • Air dry. No heat, please.
  • Wear again and again.

  • Upper is knit with a blend of merino wool and Rothy’s signature thread (aka plastic bottles). Learn more.
  • Along with the merino wool, it took about 14 plastic bottles to knit this pair of shoes.
