Celebrating Native American Heritage Month

We’re proud to shine a light on Native American Heritage Month with the leadership of our team. In celebration of this month, Rothy’s is donating $10,000 to First Nations Development Institute (First Nations), an organization working to improve economic conditions for Native Americans through technical assistance and training, advocacy and policy.

Our donation will help fund First Nations' impactful work across six key areas: Achieving Native Financial Empowerment, Investing in Native Youth, Strengthening Tribal & Community Institutions, Advancing Household & Community Asset-Building Strategies, Nourishing Native Foods & Health and Stewarding Native Lands.

First Nations and the Rothy's team also put together a helpful list of resources for reading, watching, listening, shopping and learning during Native American Heritage Month and beyond.

  • Land Acknowledgement
    • We know how important it is to acknowledge the spaces we inhabit. Rothy’s is headquartered on land belonging to the Muwekma, Ohlone and Ramaytush—and we recognize and honor the history and people here. To learn more about the land you're on, visit Native Land Digital.

If you have other recommendations to share, we’d love for you to reach out to us on Instagram—and we’ll make sure to share them with our wider community. Thank you for celebrating Native American Heritage Month with us.
