"I work at a school and since it is so hot recently, I had been on the hunt for a shoe that would let my feet breathe but still cover my toes and allow me to get down on the ground with kids. These fit the bill perfectly. I do have a little bit of room in the shoe, but it is not to the point where they feel too large or that it bothers me. They are perfectly breezy and comfortable for walking around campus all day, and the stretchy material makes it feel very flexible. I will definitely be keeping Rothy's in mind now for future purchases."

A Little Modification
"I purchased my usual size. The front of the sandal fit fine but I was concerned that my heel was sliding around. I tightened the strap in the tightest hole, but that was not enough. So I created another hole and that did the trick. Now they are comfortable and I love the way they look! How about adding another hole?"

love them
"I love these shoes! They go with everything. The only thing is that I probably should have gone with my usual size 7 instead of sizing down to a 6. 5. My heel slips out a little, but since the shoe is wide in the front, it doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable at all, so I can still wear them comfortably."

Disappointed
"This is my first pair of Rothys and I was really hoping to love them. I ordered the recommended (by Rothys) half size down and that was a mistake. They are prettt tight, giving me blisters and causing my foot to hang slightly off the back unless I press my toes all the way up. Thet also don't really breathe. The thick woven fabric traps heat. Unfortunately I ordered them on sale and can't return/exchange. 🫤"

Cute and a warm color
"These sandals look really cute on and the Pecan color is beautiful. They do not have a strong arch support, in case you have to have it. The website states they run large and to size down. I usually wear a 9. 5 and bought a 9. They fit well."

CUTE SHOES!!
"I eyeballed these shoes for the longest time, and waited, and waited, and WAITED for them to go on sale. Then I waited a little more till they were on final clearance. You TOLD me they would run big, and I went down a half size. Unfortunately, they are too big, and they are not returnable. They are so very cute, but I may have to re-home them."

Super comfy
"These are great for hot summer days and honestly, I wanted a pretty sandal, but one that covered my toenails so that I could let them breathe and not wear polish all the time, but sandals that looked really good. These fit the bill. They look great with jeans or with a summer dress. I did downsize a half size after trying them on in the store."

Comfortable shoes
"Very attractive and comfortable shoes. Probably the most comfortable of all my Rothy’s. Inconsistent sizing. The website said to size down a half size and I could have gone down an entire size. Luckily these are slightly adjustable. I have pairs of Rothy’s from 10 to 11 1/2."

Size recommendation is off
"I went by the size recommendation to order half a size down and wish I hadn’t. They just fit my foot which makes the toe box snug. I bought these for a Mexico trip with a lot of walking but the straps also chafe so there is no way I could wear these for any significant walking without getting blisters. I bought these on sale and can’t exchange them which is frustrating. I know ultimately I made the choice but I trusted the brand’s size guidance and had I ordered my usual size, I think they would have been a lot more comfortable. There shouldn’t be any recommendation if it isn’t reliable. The only reason for 2 stars is that I like the style."

Great! But definitely size down
"I bought these on sale and was really concerned about the size, since I couldn’t return them… I sized down and I’m so glad I did. I’m normally between an 8 1/2 and a nine and actually ordered an eight. I think I could’ve almost worn a 7. 5 in these… but the eight is fine. The straps are soft and comfortable. There seems to be some give at the buckle, which facilitates walking. I haven’t worn them a long distance, but no trouble so far."
