Pros and Cons When Used for Travel

"I really wanted to love this bag as a carry-on for my travels. The pros: the bag is very big, it holds a lot of stuff, it fits under the seat in front of you - according to the measurements - especially because it is soft and you can smash it under the seat, and finally, the added bonus: it has a strap to help keep the bag in place when it sits on top of your rolling suitcase, which is so convenient! The cons: The bag has zero structure, which is great if you plan to smoosh it under the seat in front of you on the airplane, but overall it’s a flip floppy bag that seems weirdly and sort of disorganized. The other con is the bag is actually kind of heavy, for a tote bag. I have exceptional travel totes of similar size with a little more structure that weigh a bit less. It seems silly to think that the weight of the Rothy’s bag makes such a difference, but it really does feel heavy when you’re carrying it around as a carry-on bag. Overall, due to the lack of structure in the bag, and the weight, I would not recommend it."
