Different Back Height Made These Unwearable

"I love rothys and have 2 other pairs. They typically feel wonderful. I bought this pair for a trip in Europe. After wearing them for 10 minutes I had blood in the interior back of the shoe and has to wear blister pads with other shoes for the remainder of the trip. The back of the shoe is taller than my previous pairs and so they rub and cut into the back of the foot."

Excellent customer service recovery

"I ordered size 11 of this shoes first as previous shoes worn ran pretty small. I normally wear size 10 and size 11 was in fact too large. When I tried exchanging it to 10. 5 I ran into a wall first as the shoe was on sale. Eventually the company not only agreed to exchanging which is all I needed but issued the right size without a return or extra cost. The new size is a perfect fit and I am pleased."

Beautiful Shoes, But Not Comfortable for All-Day Walking

"I ordered the wide fit hoping it would be more comfortable while still looking stylish for my vacation. The style and color are beautiful, and they look great on. Unfortunately, they weren’t comfortable for all-day walking. They gave me blisters on my big toe and the back of my heel after wearing them for an extended period. I really wanted to love them, but they just didn’t provide the comfort I was expecting."

Cute but different quality?

"These flats are so cute. I have two other older pairs of the point and I love them, however, I have worn these a few times and have some blisters on my heels from a break in period. I have never had a break in period with any of my Rothy’s before and definitely never gotten blisters before. The shoes are still cute, but not sure if the quality has dropped from previous versions."

Rubs on the heel

"I have a pair of Rothy's "The Flat" from 2023 that required no break in period at all and continue to be super comfortable. These ones cut into my skin at the top of the back of the heel (where the blue stripe is) upon first wearing. I could tell within just a couple minutes of wearing them. I'm not sure if the back of the flat is higher than my other pair or made differently, but I was a little disappointed that they won't be as effortless to wear as my other pair. Other than that, they were exactly as expected and are really cute, I'm just not sure I'll be able to get as much use out of them as expected unless they break in and become more comfortable quickly."

"I don’t know what to write, the point II seems to hit me at the exact wrong spot at the back, making it unlike every Rothy I have worn and loved straight out of the box. I don’t know if they changed the design or the material but did not work for me. I walk a lot and I guess will be saying goodbye to this favorite travel shoe with this pair."

Love my Rothys

"I had been hesitating to purchase these shoes online because I didn’t know what size I would need. I was out of town in Philadelphia and came upon a brick and mortar store, I was so thrilled and it was the first store I went into. I purchased this pair and I absolutely love them. Cute / Not comfortable / A bit tight

"Super cute flats and I love the style! I normally wear a size 6. 5 in flats, but these ran a bit narrow and small, so I’d recommend sizing up half a size. The heel also felt pretty stiff and gave me blisters after wearing them. I noticed others mentioned the same issue, and I think a slightly lower heel counter would make them much more comfortable."

Loving them even more, second time around

"I got my first pair of Rothy's as a gift from my brother. At first sight, I resisted. He insisted. I tried them on and fell in love. After a few years, they started to feel a tad tight and a bit worn out. I bought the exact same pair, this time 0. 5 size bigger. Loving them all over again. What I have come to love just as much is the sales and after sales service. The experience at the store in Austin was delightful both times - attentive, friendly, patient salesperson who followed up via a personal email after purchase - when she simply didnt need to. Makes for a great experience and a loyal customer."
