New Black Shoes | Uncomfortable

"Attached is a photo showing my new black point shoes compared to my first pair of black point shoes. Apparently the design has changed and the heel on the new pair is more pronounced and you can feel it when you walk. I will be returning these shoes. They are very uncomfortable to wear. It feels like I have a rock or a stick in my shoe. I replaced my original black point shoes because they separated at the seam connecting the upper covering to the sole. I love Rothy's but I'm afraid to purchase other styles and encounter the same issue with the heel design change."

First time trying Rothy’s

"Although the fit of my Rothy’s is great, the comfort of them for the cost wasn’t as worth it for me. The material used makes my feet get sweaty easily which is never been a problem in any other shoe for me. I was able to luckily walk for hours without being too uncomfortable so still worth it for me, but not enough to try another pair. I was luckily able to walk out from the store and not have to deal with a break-in period."

Wide Fit is Great!

"I finally broke down and got the Wide Fit after my previous Rothy's have repeated pinched and ruined by toes. The wide fit is great and I wish they would make more colors. I normally wear an 8. 5 and I bought the 9 Wide. They fit very well; a smidge on the looser side but an 8. 5 would have been too small."

Not my favorite

"I really wanted to love these. When I first took them out of the box, they fit & are super cute. However, after wearing for the first time, after only an hour they started feeling WAY too small on my toes, and rubbing my heels like crazy. I had to put huge band-aids on my heels to stop from bleeding the rest of the day, and the pinching in my toes was so bad that I won't be able to wear them again. Beware of sizing and how narrow the point is."

Blisters

"It won’t let me leave a low star review but whoever changed the points at Rothy’s really needs to evaluate why they would change a classic! These are terrible and nothing like my first two pairs. I threw them away as I bought them for travel and the lack of appropriate fit with the new heel just completely hurt and left me with excruciating blisters. I’ll wear out my old ones but won’t be buying more new ones. Sad, as these were my favorite shoe."

My Favorites

"I love these shoes. I have eleven pairs in different colors. They’re perfect to add a spot of color to my outfits. They mold nicely to my feet and so easy to take care of. I’m hoping they’ll add a deep rich purple and a turquoise to the flats collections."

I love Rothy's. I have

"I love Rothy's. I have many colors for many years now. I don't know if you've changed the way you make the shoe but after putting the shoes on for one day, my heels were cut up with blisters. I am very disappointed because I love these shoes and wear them daily, but I cannot wear these new ones."

Pamela K. (1/5)

I wanted to love these

"I hear great reviews from several friends about Rothy’s. So I took the plunge and forked over the big bucks. Unfortunately they are too small for me, but I’m traditionally always a 10 no matter what. The shoes gave me terrible blisters the few times I wore them; I tried to break them in but no luck. They are more sparkly than I thought too: but look nice. Thanks"

First Time Battling Blisters

"All of my previous Rothy’s felt like a dream to wear. Unfortunately I switched to this design, and for the first time I’m getting heel blisters. I like the new insoles a lot (the previous versions had uncomfortable seams) and the overall style is still great, but this wide version doesn’t fit as well, and I’m sick of the blisters. I actually might have to switch to a new shoe because these are so painful, even after weeks of trying to break them in. Definitely disappointing."

Amber S. (1/5)

Classy

"The shoes look great but I took one star off because they're not quite as comfortable as the Daily Flat. Ordering a half-size up might've resolved the issue, though (4th toe rubbing/squishing). But I do love the leopard print lining detail!"
