Beautiful minimalist flats

"I just love these Rothy's flats and have them in both black and Ecru. They are so comfortable. They are sleek and and attractive and go with everything. They are also easy to clean. And they last so long, which is extremely rare for ballet flats like this. I've had my current ones for years and they look as good as day one, even though I wear them all the time. I expect to be wearing them for many more years. I also like Rothy's environmental commitment to making things from recycled materials. Overall, this is just a fantastic minimalist shoe."

Best buy ever

"I bought my Rothys in Washington DC on a trip in May 2026 to the US (I live in the UK). I’ve always wanted a pair but was apprehensive about buying them online from abroad re the sizing and possible returns. So when I saw a shop on holiday I dived in to try a pair. I would have like a red pair but they didn’t have them in stock so I opted eventually for the black, round toe ( after trying on several styles) as I knew I would wear them more often. I wore them straight out of the shop to walk about three miles in rainy conditions so they had a real test. At first I thought they were a bit tight but they soon eased and after that were fine. They are SO useful as they go with multiple outfits and occasions. Comfortable and easy to wear, smart, casual, and in between. A great shoe. Absolutely love them."

Love Love Love Them!!!

"I’ve lost count of how many pairs of Rothy’s there are in my closet. They are my favorite shoes. This is my first pair of the new flats. I was concerned they wouldn’t fit as well as all my other ones, but they are even more comfortable than the original version. If you love the original flats you will love these too. I have wide feet, so I size up a half size and they are perfect."

Break them in!

"Got a blister first time wearing them. I tried them on in store for sizing and ordered online because they didn’t have the style I wanted. Got them, they felt a little tight but thought they would be ok. A week later recovering still from the blister they gave me. I only wore them for about an hour. Not sure if I love them. Maybe if they stretch small bit. Kinda disappointed tbh"

Best shoe ever

"I have foot issues. Bunions on both sides of both my feet. Knots in the arch of my feet (a genetic issue). I worked in healthcare for 45 years and on my feet all day. With all that crazy being said, this is the first shoe right out of the box I was able to wear all day and no foot pain. If could give 100 stars I would."

Good but could be better

"I love the packable nature of these shoes, and these look very nice with just about every outfit. But they lack stretch so if your feet are not perfectly uniform (and whose are) then one foot will rub somewhere requiring a foot plaster or other protection. Also, to be suitable for a full day of tourist activity, I would have liked a bit more arch support and padding at the ball of the foot."

New insoles are sooo comfy

"I was reluctant to buy these because they are different from the original inside design so I went to a store to try them on. The new insoles make the shoes go from decent ballet flats to my most comfortable pair of ballet flats. Still machine washable only better than before. My first pair lasted 6 years."

So comfortable from the get go!

"I sized down from 8. 0 to 7. 5 because I heard they run a little wider. I tried them on and found that the 7. 5 was perfect. I was able to wear them while traveling and walking 10,000-15,000 steps a day with no chafing, no blisters and no discomfort. The supportive insole was very comfortable and wish I could buy the new style of insoles for my older pairs of Rothy's flats!"
