"The cut of the shoe makes it dig into the back of my heel. Walking for hours is comfortable otherwise so it's not the support that's lacking, just the way the heel area is shaped. Using some kind of bandage or pad prevents any pressure and irritation, but I'd hoped not to have to resort to such measures for shoes that are meant to be quality."
"I really love these loafers. No break in time. I have two pair, one for wearing outside the house and one for house shoes. I have rhe black and tan and the blue and white. I love both! I did size up to a 9 and I usually wear a 8. 5 Rothy’s and 8 street shoes. I’m so glad I did! They form to your feet and get tighter so buy larger. I have a low volume foot and these are great. I’m not sure how they would be if you had a thicker foot."

"I had an Achilles tendon replacement 9 years ago and haven’t been able to wear flats since then. I went back and forth on trying Rothy’s for years and decided to give them a try! I was incredibly pleased with how they feel. I don’t think I could spend a whole day in them walking but they are really great for errands and short trips. I will say I was pushed into a bigger size than I wear (I wear a 6) by the store associate and literally had to tell her a very firm no on going up to a 7. I have found that despite what she said I should have gotten my normal size because these are just a bit too big."
"I love the look! Received many compliments on its unusual design. The only issue is it's slightly tight across the top of my feet, just below the ankle. Unfortunately, as we all know, when the weather gets hotter, some feet will react and swell. I think widing the shoes, and perhaps suggesting going up by 1/2 size will do the trick."
