Not worth the hype

"I purchased my first pair of Rothy’s. You’re supposed to buy a half size up because the shoes will shrink. That concept made me nervous, so I went with it. I decided to wear them out of the store to finish my shopping. The shoes severely cut into the back of my ankles, and had to buy bandaids at a local shop. Once I added on a heel cushion, I was able to wear them again. I like the idea of utilizing recycle plastic, but this is not for me. They are not very comfortable either. i think they run narrow. Would not buy again. It is not how I want to utilize my money."

Stylish and comfortable

"I am a size 7 and these fit perfectly. I often have trouble with the heel slipping but these were very secure. The double adjustable straps are a nice feature. The insole is not heavily cushioned but still comfortable. I haven’t worn them for an extended period so not sure how my feet would feel after hours of walking."

"The fact that they are made of plastic changes the whole game. The shoes are not breathable, and although quite open, your feet are going to sweet even when the weather is chilly. Imagine how your feet are going to feel if you wear your supermarket plastic bags as shoes. HUGE thought process flaw"

Badly rub back of my ankle- awful blisters

"These are cute and mostly comfortable otherwise but unwearable. Extremely expensive mistake. I even went to the store to try on and check the fit! But the backs are so stiff and scratchy and the fit is poor in this area. Walking around in them all day caused horrible bleeding blisters."

"This will probably sound like a fake review but I love these shoes so much. I'm actually disappointed how comfortable they are. I have yet to run them through the wash but I think they'll hold up well. They're delicate looking but hold up to a lot of walking already!!"

"I was advised in the store to size up because the shoes should have a slightly loose feel to them. After wearing them for half a day, the back of my heel was cut and bleeding from wear the edge of the shoe hit my ankle. I am not sure if this is because they are slightly too big or if it just the design of the shoe and where it hits on my foot."

This particular shoe, The Double Buckle, is as comfortable as I hoped would be - ordering flats can be very tricky - they always look good in pictures but once on, can feel terrible.
