In session with DonorsChoose.

It’s no secret that here at Rothy’s, we love teachers. They provide kids with invaluable lessons, both in the classroom and long after the bell rings. Each one of us is better for having had special teachers in our lives. And the truth is, teachers need our support. From handling large class sizes to buying supplies out of their own pockets, teachers’ work goes way beyond their job description. That’s why we’ve partnered with, a very special non-profit dedicated to empowering public school teachers across America.

With, teachers can request much-needed supplies or experiences for their students. Founded in 2000, has helped fund over 600,000 projects. On Giving Tuesday 2018, we gave Rothy’s purchasers a $25 donation towards a classroom of their choice—and the results blew us away. We were able to donate $50,000 to classrooms across the country. Projects funded focused on educating kids on topics including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), environmental responsibility, solutions to plastic pollution and recycling. We made donations to schools in all fifty states, many of which educate students from low-income households.

We know that we can reach monumental achievements when we come together for a great cause. Thank you to the Rothy’s community and for making these new experiences possible for students from coast to coast.
