How we support Dress for Success®.

Sustainability and community are at the heart of everything we do, which made our recent partnership with the incredible Dress for Success® organization an especially beautiful way to wrap up 2022. We love finding sustainable solutions for problems big and small. In this case, we proudly donated approximately 2,500 pairs of Rothy’s women’s footwear to Dress for Success US Affiliates, with the goal of getting Rothy’s straight to people who will use them. By reducing extra inventory in this way, we were able to inspire confidence in women seeking new career opportunities while also getting the most love out of every pair of shoes.

As they describe on their website, Dress for Success is a leading global nonprofit employment resource that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help them thrive. Their mission hits close to home for us, and we are thrilled to provide women in the Dress for Success program with stylish, professional shoes that offer all-day comfort and lasting quality.

As we work towards our goal of achieving zero waste, we routinely examine every aspect of our business—and that includes how much product we produce. We proudly own our own sustainable factory and try hard to never overproduce, but occasionally there is a little left over at the end of the day. Through this donation, we’re doubling down on our commitment to zero waste—delighting the Dress for Success® community while ensuring every pair of Rothy’s finds a home.

With our donation, Dress for Success® affiliates in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Washington DC can help get more women back on their feet, regain their confidence and achieve their full potential. And we couldn’t be more excited to support them on their journey.
