The Lug Loafer in Teak Herringbone


  • Soft, premium upper in a brown herringbone pattern knit with a blend of RWS-certified merino wool and recycled plastic bottles.
  • Cushy insoles in beige for added comfort.
  • Rugged dark brown outsoles with lugs on the bottom for extra grip and durability.
  • Chunky 1.5-in (4-cm) heel for added height.
  • Pull tab at the heel makes it easy to slip on your shoes.

Washing Instructions

  • All of our styles are machine washable—so they last for the long haul. Learn more.
  • Toss shoes in the wash with cold water. 
  • Air dry. No heat, please. 
  • As wool is a delicate natural fiber, we suggest using a shoe tree when drying to help preserve their shape.

Sustainability

  • Upper is knit with a blend of RWS-certified merino wool and Rothy’s signature thread (aka plastic bottles). Learn more.
  • Along with the merino wool, it took about 4 plastic bottles to knit this pair of shoes.
  • In 2023, Rothy’s factory achieved TRUE Platinum certification, validating that it’s operating with Zero Waste Practices by diverting solid waste from landfill, incineration and the environment.
