The Laced Lug Boot in Onyx Black


  • Soft, stretchy water-resistant upper in black made with RWS-certified merino wool.
  • Cushy insoles for added comfort and support.
  • Comfortable, adjustable laces in black for an optimal fit.
  • Lightweight rubber lug sole in black with durable traction.
  • Chunky 1.5-in (4-cm) heel for added height.
  • Pull tab and stretch gore panels make it easy to slip on your boots.

Washing Instructions

  • All of our styles are machine washable. However, this style’s water-resistant treatment will fade as it is washed. We recommend spot cleaning to preserve the water-resistant treatment.
  • Slip out insoles. Toss shoes and insoles in the wash with cold water. 
  • Air dry. No heat, please.
  • Wear again and again.

  • Upper is knit with a blend of RWS-certified merino wool and Rothy’s signature thread (aka plastic bottles). Learn more.
  • Along with the merino wool, it took about 4 plastic bottles to knit this pair of shoes.
  • In 2023, Rothy’s factory achieved TRUE Platinum certification, validating that it’s operating with Zero Waste Practices by diverting solid waste from landfill, incineration and the environment.
