Trouble finding the right size

"Had to return them - I love the style but found that my regular size was wayyy too big, these are def not TTS. Hesitant to try half a size smaller because sending them back costs me 10 euros. Had the same issue earlier this year with the Cruiser Mary Jane - half a size smaller was still not ideal, it rubs the big toe of my right foot (but I kept those anyway). Having said all that: I do love the look of these!"

The new inserts don't work for me

"I had read posts from people saying the "new" flat with its insert don't work for them, so I ordered with trepidation and fingers crossed. Sure enough! The insert raised my foot up too high in the shoe so that it was uncomfortably tight. I solved it by taking out the new inserts and putting in a pair from another of my Rothy shoes. Problem solved! I have been waiting and waiting for a plain "brown" shoe and I really love this color."

Incredible!

"I took a break bc my feet could not do anymore, this support is better & I travel with the tennis shoes bc I am the youngest 96+ year old feet! I got in a bad car wreck & was in a 6 week coma where I flexed my feet as if I was a ballerina in 2003! I am a retired 45 traveling nomad chasing the oysters in a Bohemian style thanks to Rothy’s! I wear my Anthropologie skirts with beautiful colors to coordinate down to my toes! Thank you & keep improving as I age or might I suggest a Travelers Moccasin (UGZ like…) almost? for car or plane & qwik dog walks so a rubber sole is appreciated! I ordered 12.5 bc i have a wide big foot & im a full size true 11-11.5 (w), I am 5’10 now prob.."

Switched to daily flat and loved them!

"I previously wore the pointed flat and they were too tight around the front of my foot and by the end of the day I was walking funny. The Daily Flat is wider and was comfortable the entire day. I did size up a half size for extra room, but probably didn't need it like I did on the pointy flat."

No longer my favorite shoe

"I own several pairs of these shoes, all size 8. I ordered two new pairs in size 8, and they are significantly larger. I wore a pair today and it just rubbed the back of heel all day. Why did the sizing change??? Also the new insoles don’t seem like they are machine washable so not sure what to do when they wear out. The new soles are also quite slippery on hardwood floors. Honestly I want the old versions back. And why doesn’t it allow me to post photos with my review to show the size difference?"

I am so happy to

"I am so happy to find this red-violet colored shoe that I am rating it totally high even though Rothy's shoes seem to run slightly small. It seems that 9 may be too large so took a chance on the 8 1/2 which is my usual size in order to have a pair to go with several outfits of red-violet in my wardrobe. Being fairly short, I like my shoes to blend WELL to give me a longer line visually than have contrasting shoes and this shoe gives me that. Square-toed shoes may be the best for my toes to have enough room."

Disappointed

"I am very disappointed because the size 10.5 did not fit me. I have several pairs of Rothy's from a few years ago, but the new design is too wide for my narrow foot and seemed maybe a little long. I was advised to try a half size smaller, but unfortunately, while the width was perfect, the size 10 were too short. The old style fit great but no longer. I really wanted them to work and had to return both pair."

I have purchased 5 of

"I have purchased 5 of the pointy toe Rothy’s as well as the loafer style slip on tennis shoe. I have been disappointed with pink pointy toe with appliqué flowers and this current purchase due to causing pain on my heals on both pairs. The other 4 pair of the pointy toe shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. I’ve walked up to 9 miles in one day in Washington DC and gave recommended these shoes to lots of women. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do that with the pink shoes or this current pair. Looking to tango I do appreciate the revision to the insole for this current pair. However, the heeled portion feels very stiff and I believe that is causing my discomfort."

"Love the color and the look of these with jeans. I have several colors, this may be my favorite. Arch support is somewhat improved from years ago, but i just can't walk a lot in these... They are not supportive enough, i feel like i am barefoot on concrete. But soooo cute"
