The Chukka Boot in Umber


  • Soft yet structured, water-resistant upper in dark brown.
  • Cushy insoles offer support and exceptional comfort.
  • Adjustable laces allow you to wear with or without socks.
  • Blending function and classic design, the lug tread holds up to daily wear.

Washing Instructions

  • All of our styles are machine washable. However, this style’s water-resistant treatment will fade as it is washed. We recommend spot cleaning to preserve the water-resistant treatment. Learn more.
  • Slip out insoles. Toss shoes and insoles in the wash with cold water. 
  • Air dry. No heat, please.
  • Wear again and again.

  • Upper is knit with a blend of RWS-certified merino wool and Rothy’s signature thread (aka plastic bottles). Learn more.
  • Along with the merino wool, it took about 9 plastic bottles to knit this pair of shoes.
  • In 2023, Rothy’s factory achieved TRUE Platinum certification, validating that it’s operating with Zero Waste Practices by diverting solid waste from landfill, incineration and the environment.
