Summer shoe care.

We’ll come right out and say it: Rothy’s do not like the heat. And in the warmer months, it’s extra important to be careful when washing, wearing and loving your shoes. If you’re looking for a few tips to help your Rothy’s beat the heat, you’ve come to the right place. We’re here to break down all the summer best practices so your favorite styles of womens shoes remain good as new.

You already know to avoid hot water and the dryer when washing your Rothy’s. The same goes for setting your pairs outside to dry or storing them outdoors during the summer. We recommend that you keep your shoes in a cool spot to reduce any warping or shrinkage.

Rothy’s are the ultimate commute companion—our popular styles of womens driving loafers love to travel with you wherever you go. However, they don’t fare so well when left in a hot car. If you often drive in a hot climate, we recommend grabbing your shoes when you exit the vehicle. What can we say, Rothy’s adore the AC.

Summer is the time for sunny days, BBQs and weekend getaways. It’s also time for some serious heat. Which means sometimes we experience foot swelling. If your Rothy’s are feeling more snug than normal, we recommend stepping inside for some cool air or putting your feet up.
