We’re thrilled to introduce our most chic collaboration yet, Rothy’s x Marta Ferri. Merino wool is such a special material that we knew any collaboration needed to be equally as exceptional. We partnered with renowned Italian designer Marta Ferri to create two exclusive square-toed silhouettes and six unique patterns in our newest material, merino wool.
Throughout her career, Marta has been known as a creator who is reimagining the traditional design process by using unexpected fabrics—like upholstery and textiles—to make gorgeous, wearable creations for modern women. Transformation is core to Rothy's (after all, our signature thread is made from repurposed water bottles), and we're deeply inspired by Marta’s unique process.
As we began this collaboration, we knew thinking outside the box was key. Blending our signature aesthetic with Marta’s innovative eye resulted in an array of fresh designs—and two exclusive silhouettes. The beautiful square-toed shape is colorful and fashion-forward, while the geometric design and check motifs that adorn the shoes are the pinnacle of pattern excellence.
As with everything we create at Rothy’s, this collection is crafted with the planet in mind. Knit from ethically sourced merino wool and our signature thread spun from repurposed plastic water bottles, these styles are your new sustainable staples.
